The CAE exam can also be known as the "Cambridge English: Advanced" - it is produced by Cambridge and is fairly popular, although probably much less than the IELTS/TOEFL.
 
There are four sections to it, which are the Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing and Use Of English. Try to become familiar with the different types of questions that are asked. Also, one thing which is different to for example the IELTS, for the CAE, is that for the speaking part, you have to speak with another candidate.
